DAY1: Arrival at Paro airport
The flight to Paro is one of the most spectacular mountain flights in the world, with a constantly changing panoramic view of some of the highest mountains on earth. Our team representatives will receive you at Paro International airport. After lunch or depending on the arrival time, there will be afternoon sightseeing around Paro, including a visit to the Ta -Dzong Museum and the 7th Century Kyichu Lhakhang monastery. Then we drive to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan.

DAY2: Thimphu – Sightseeing

Whole capital city tour of Thimphu, exploring the most famous tourist spots like – The Memorial Chorten, Buddha Point, Centenary Farmers’ Market, Folk Heritage Museum, Tashichhodzong etc. Overnight stay at hotel in Thimphu.

DAY3: Thimphu – Punakha
Drive over the Dochu-La (pass) – (3,100 meters), which, on a clear day, offers an incredible view of Himalayan peaks of the Kingdom, before descending into gorgeous Punakha valley (about 3 hors drive). The drive through the countryside gives a glimpse of everyday life in rural farming and hamlets. While in Punakha, there will be a visit to the Chorten Nebu Temple, Punakha Dzong, the “Palace of Great Happiness” built in 1637 by the Tibetan saint – Zhabdrung, the ‘Unifier of Bhutan’ who is also popuularly known as  Guru Rimpoche (Padmasambhava). It is situated at the confluence of the Mo Chu and Pho Chu (female and male rivers. Punakha is the winter migratory of the Buddhist clergy head called the Je Khenpo and his monks and disciples, from Thimphu to warmer location which has been the tradition for ages.

DAY4: Dochula Pass – Attend the Festival
After enjoying the Druk Wangeyl festival, en-route, visit to 2 of the most popular  tour sites – Punakha Dzong and the Khamsum Yulley Namgyal Chorten in Punakha valley.

DAY5: Paro
The beautiful valley of Paro is home to many of Bhutan’s old monasteries and temples. The only airport of Bhutan is also in Paro. The valley is also a tour sight for the  3rd highest peak of Bhutan, called Mt Jomolhari (7, 300m), that is situated towards the northern aspect of the Paro valley.  After the lunch, the sightseeing in Paro valley,  that includes to Ta Dzong Museum, Drukgyal Dzong and to the 7th Century Kyichu Lhakhang temple.

DAY6: Departure

Depending upon the flight schedule, either after breakfast or without breakfast, drive to airport .The we bid adieu or farewell to our valued clients.
